Chambertin 2005 Vintage

A great vintage for the reds which have excellent concentration and power with a solid structure for good long-term aging. Some caution is advised when opening the 2005s as many were shutdown as late as 2017. Premier and Grand Crus should be opened after 2020.
Whites are much less successful than reds with many being too rich and lacking the solid structure of classic white Burgundies
